Challenges and solutions

The management at the client's headquarters needed a unified and transparent system to gain full visibility over all expenses and manage invoices. Key requirements also included process optimization and simplified future audits, all without redundant systems or excessive costs. The company only considered international solutions capable of meeting these corporate-level demands, which led them to select a Microsoft Dynamics AX rollout for their operations in Kazakhstan.

Awara IT, a company with a proven track record in financial automation, provided its pre-built Microsoft Dynamics AX localization for Kazakhstan, the only solution of its kind available on the Microsoft AppSource marketplace. We performed minimal adaptations to align the product's invoice management with the client's existing ERP and enhanced its customs and warehouse functionality.

• A core part of the project was implementing integration with Kazakhstan's electronic invoice information system. This integration is critical for any business in Kazakhstan, as it is mandatory for reporting all goods movements and transactions related to export and import operations to state authorities. 
• Microsoft Dynamics AX processes dozens of documents daily, with the integration seamlessly handling over 1,000 documents per day. 
• The localized system was launched successfully and on schedule.

Results

Our customer now manages its consolidated reporting within the single, unified Microsoft Dynamics AX solution. 

It fully meets corporate requirements for transparent, consolidated reporting and serves as the central ERP system for all the holding company's offices. For instance, a sales order from Finland now automatically generates a corresponding purchase order in Kazakhstan. This high level of automation has optimized operational efficiency so significantly that the entire procurement process is managed by just 1 person.

Furthermore, the automated data exchange with state information systems ensures the client is in full compliance with all local reporting and business transparency regulations.
