DLF TRIFOLIUM is one of the world leaders in breeding programs and seed production of cold-season herbs and clover. With over 20% of the total supply volume of herbs for feed use (in agriculture) and lawn grasses, both for the professional and consumer markets. Commercial initiatives of the company are supported by effective production and the most optimal logistics functions. High quality of products is confirmed the Danish and Russian accredited laboratories.
Background
DLF is an international company with an extensive network of offices and subsidiaries in different countries. This structure leads to standardization of accounting functions and management reporting according to internal and local requirements. Different types of financial accounting must be carried out in a unified ERP.
In accordance with this corporate requirement in August 2012 the Russian subsidiary has formed a work group and started implementation of unified accounting policy and accounting functions automation based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Solution
One of the most important requirements was to implement Russian accounting according to the Russian and international standards. That is why both – methodological support and Microsoft Dynamics NAV customizations were needed. Management reporting and financial reporting were separated, so that it would have been easier to understand those financial data. Professional auditors were introduced into the project team, who in parallel with the implementation of a new ERP were engaged in accounting restoration.
Key project tasks were divided into several stages in order to implement Finance, Sales, Purchases and Warehouse modules of Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Results
DLF TRIFOLIUM key business processes are automated within unified easy-to-use Microsoft Dynamics NAV, in accordance to customer’s coprorate requirements as well as Russian and international accounting standards.
Finance, Sales, Purchases and Warehouse modules are customized and correctly display business results in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. This project was implemented within 4 months only. Currently DLF TRIFOLIUM is a supplier of seeds to large retail chains proving our customer’s successful operations.
