With another wave of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central updates, Awara IT experts shared top-5 features that will support your existing ERP solution.
- Country specifics. In 2022 release wave 2, Business Central is generally available in more than 100 countries and regions. It means that it will be even easier to consider local specifics, reducing project costs. Awara IT has successful Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations in Germany, Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Netherlands, Cyprus, Czech Republic, China, Canada, Azerbaijan, Georgia, USA, UK, Italy, Finland, the Balkans states, Ireland, Peru, Columbia, and Mexico.
- New integrations. Simpler Shopify connection will help our customers create a better online shopping experience. The seamless connection between the two systems synchronizes order, stock, and customer information to ensure that merchants can fulfill orders faster and better serve their customers. The joint effort furthers the commitment of Business Central to connect data to help businesses adapt faster, work smarter, and perform better. In this release wave, Microsoft have made improvements in the user interface based on feedback from customers. We have also integrated Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC with Amazon and Otto for our customers.
Another sync is a popular combination of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics 365 Sales. Now customers are very well informed about possible shipment delays, inventory shortages, or other changes to the sales quotes and orders. Sales orders are also synchronized between Business Central and Dynamics 365 Sales in both directions. We are happy to provide a smooth connection between the two solutions that now come from the standard functionality. Now customers do not need to have extra budgets and time for additional development. - Microsoft Power Platform. Microsoft introduced improvements to the Power BI integration as well as the Power Automate connector and the Automate action—bridging Business Central and Power Automate with a modern toolset that empowers makers and citizen developers to easily extend and connect Business Central with other systems. We also continue improvements for our Dataverse virtual tables data change events so that our partners can use Dataverse as a platform for more ambitious integrations. This means that using Dynamics and Power Automate integration, we can now automate processes inside Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Reporting When a business user runs a report with an Excel layout, they can now choose the Excel layout in the report's request page. For example, if a report has several Excel layouts, the user can choose the exact layout they want when they run the report. Применение шаблонов позволит значительно сократить время на разработку сложных отчетов. In most cases now customers might use existing settings rather than development. In addition to the Excel layout capability, we'll release a new set of APIs for the finance area that can be used in both Excel and Power BI. This way, users can create their own more detailed analysis on data from the general ledger and G/L budgets with dimensions. We'll provide new template Power BI Desktop files with examples based on the new API.
- Better bank reconciliation for checks and improved reporting. Bank reconciliation is a key task in every company, and performing the task efficiently is important to every finance department. Better matching rules improve the speed with which bank reconciliation is done. Time needed for bank reconciliation has now dramatically reduced.
