- Dynamics NAV 2018 R2 (on-prem) is not coming out in spring 2018. Instead, we expect Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on-prem / hosted in fall 2018.
- Great new user interface: drag-and-drop role-based interface elements, convenient new selection of role-based interfaces, editing the interface in real time, remembering the sorting settings of the web client, dashboards and Power BI
- Improved integration with Office 365. Excel write-back for quick import into Excel and editing, reconciliation chains, access to a variety of data directly from Outlook emails, built-in Microsoft Cognitive Service
- Extensions 2.0 and Visual Studio Code.
Dynamics 365 Business Central is an integral part of the Microsoft ecosystem. Already on April 2, localizations of many countries are released, on July 1, the W1 version appears. Microsoft will share further plans for the Inspire in the summer of 2018.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will be sold through the CSP channel. Base prices are fixed: Team Member for $ 8 / month, Essentials for $ 70 / month and Premium for $ 100 / month on a turnkey basis, including Azure and SQL.
