The Dynamics User Group (DUG), an independent community of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dynamics GP, and Power Platform professionals, organized DynamicsCon Virtual, a full-day event aimed at providing user-focused content covering Dynamics GP, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365 products such as Business Central, Customer Engagement, and Finance & Operations.
This year, DUG boasted more than 39,000 users, and 100+ sessions were presented with key speakers from Microsoft and leading worldwide experts. The topics, which were selected by participants and fellow Dynamics User Group community members, aimed to provide personal and professional growth opportunities for attendees. Overall, DynamicsCon Virtual provided a wealth of valuable content for Microsoft Dynamics professionals, focusing on personal and professional growth and providing practical insights into improving user experiences with Power Apps Canvas applications.
One of the sessions at the event was presented by Katerina Chernevskaya, a software architect from the Awara IT Academy. Katerina's session, titled "Improve the UX of Power Apps Canvas apps," focused on one of the critical stages of the application lifecycle - monitoring the user experience.
Katerina explained how Microsoft's Application Insights, a powerful service for collecting usage statistics, can be integrated with Power Apps Canvas applications to flexibly monitor user activity and make informed decisions based on the collected data.
The session was focused on configuring Power Apps Canvas app controls to collect data about user experience, allowing attendees to learn how to improve their applications based on user feedback.
All our team highly supported Katerina on preparation for this great event, we are proud of our brilliant colleague!
