Xalq Bank is one of the most dynamically developing banks in the country.

Accuracy and transparency, reliability and respect, speed and efficiency, individual and flexible customer service approach are the core principles of the Bank's operations.

To maintain all processes at a high level, it is necessary to work quickly and effectively on current projects.

Xalq Bank faced the task of optimizing project management, taking into account the current capabilities of the internal IT infrastructure and data security requirements.

Challenges and solutions

To solve the task, Awara IT Academy suggested using Microsoft Project for the Web.

With this tool, managers can flexibly plan projects based on the allocated resources and project duration.

The Bank's employees  in collaboration with Academy experts tested the basic functionality of Project for the Web, customized it to their needs, and learn how to use the tool over a period of 2 months.

It was also the Project for the Web Accelerator installed and integrated with Power BI to create informative and well visualized reports on the conducted projects.

Results

During the pilot phase, employees from several departments of Xalq Bank tried Project for the Web in their real projects.

Project for the Web enabled teams to better structure projects, streamline task coordination and track progress more effectively.

The positive experience of using Project for the Web during the pilot project demonstrated its potential for further implementation in other Xalq Bank departments, with the aim of continuing to enhance project management within the bank.
