Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Localization for Kazakhstan in 2 Months
When entering the Kazakhstan market, an international company needed to preserve the management and reporting standards used by its headquarters while fully complying with local requirements. Awara IT implemented a localized Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solution in 2 months and provided headquarters with transparent access to local business data.
About the Client
An international trader specializing in mineral fertilizers. The company’s headquarters is located in the Netherlands and already operates on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Client Challenge
When entering the Kazakhstan market, the company faced a common challenge for international businesses: replicating established business processes in a new country while maintaining global management standards and fully complying with local requirements.
Before Implementation
The Kazakhstan operations were running on 1C. While accounting was formally in place, management reporting remained a “black box” for headquarters.
This Case Is Relevant If
Solution
Instead of building a custom localization from scratch, Awara IT proposed a ready-to-use localized Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solution. For the business, this meant lower project risk and faster time-to-value.
The Kazakhstan localization is Microsoft-certified and published in Microsoft AppSource. It includes local functionality such as tax reporting, bank formats, integration with 1C:ZUP and a Russian-language interface.
Using the ready-made localization enabled a significantly faster launch compared with developing a full localization from scratch.

What’s Next
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central can scale together with the customer’s business. New offices, integrations and users can be added to a unified ERP environment without reimplementing the system.
The customer is considering consolidating all subsidiaries on a single Dynamics 365 Business Central platform. With the ready-made localization, each new entity can be launched in 2–3 months instead of 6 months or more.
