Challenges and solutions
Background
As a service company, Vorsicher has complex sales, installation, and support cycles. The key business process begins with security systems sales, preparing proposals, and interacting with the customer until installation is done. When the installation is over, customers get agreements and invoices and finally move to the support and maintenance stage. Every part of the process has certain peculiarities and requires attention.
Vorsicher’s challenges were:

- Enable sales professionals and engineers using mobile app in all countries of presence – Italy and Germany
- Ensure transparent reporting
Previously the customer worked with few accounting, CRM and collaboration solutions and required a unified tool that would bring all processes and people together. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central has become the most efficient solution that could match all corporate and local requirements.
Solution
To automate the main business process in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, a Core solution has been developed by Awara IT. Currently, it is fully implemented in Italy, other countries will be added shortly. This approach reduces project cost and duration: once the project is finalized in one country, it is easily scalable to other countries of customer’s presence. Even more, no matter how many new locations will be added, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will meet both – corporate standards and local requirements.
Our team automated a full cycle of work with leads, installation process and the work of the engineer in the mobile app. Billing is done within Dynamics 365 BC, if any support is needed all service requests are also done inside Dynamics. Warehouse replenishment planning, planning along the entire supply chain and payments approval is transparent and is done within a unified ERP as well.

- Core solution is easy to scale to new countries of Vorsicher’s presence. It reduces project cost, efforts and implementation time
- Key business process (from sales to reporting) is fully automated on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Field workers use Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central mobile app to quickly close deals, bill clients, or create support requests anytime, anywhere
- We automated monthly billing for subscription fees, considering tariffs and service interruptions (thousands of invoices per month)
- Integration with Docusign. Clients use it to sign agreements with Vorsicher.
- This project was implemented together with our local partner. It also helped us to reduce project cost and duration.
