An international provider of information security solutions serves corporate customers through offices in several countries.Challenges and solutions
The company’s headquarters and foreign subsidiaries were already using Microsoft Dynamics 365, while the Kazakhstan office managed accounting in 1C.
To align operations across locations, the business needed a unified system with support for local legal requirements, auditable financial reporting, and data consolidation for the head office. The new system was planned for 15 users, mainly from the finance department.
Results
Awara IT implemented the Kazakhstan localization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The project included the configuration of finance, purchasing, and sales modules, as well as banking integration.
An interesting aspect of the project was that the client used the built-in CRM module within the ERP system to manage incoming leads. Since we encourage our clients to make the best use of the solutions already implemented, we recommended using the existing module to manage this marketing channel.
All offices were brought into a single system. Financial reporting is now collected centrally and meets both local regulatory requirements and the standards of the head office.
The Kazakhstan implementation became a foundation for further regional expansion. Following the successful launch, the client contacted Awara IT again with a request to localize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for Uzbekistan.
