Real estate investor and developer manages investment resources with D365FO

Ghelamco is a leading European real estate investor and developer operating in the office, residential, retail and logistics markets. The group’s successes on the Belgian, the UK, Polish, and Russian markets receiving world’s most prestigious property awards. The Company implemented the global ERP solution on the base of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The implementation covered every European country of Ghelamco’s presence. It standardizes all corporate policies in order to manage investment resources more efficiently. The implementation of Ghelamco’s Russian business unit was a joint effort of Ad Ultima Group and Awara IT, with Awara IT supporting Russian localization implementation.  Starting from January 1, 2020, all transactions are entered into Dynamics 365 FO on the base of  the Russian localization functionality to build all taxation and financial reports from the system. Kazakhmys copper giant uses Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations

Kazakhmys corporation implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. The project was launched in May 2019. In less than 8 months Kazakhmys was provided with solution design, functionality go-live and training for over 1300 employees. Awara IT became implementation partner in this project. First project stage consisted finances and logistics automation, including accounting, warehouse, purchases and sales, contractor activities, trade operations, as well as integration with external systems and platforms of state authorities. On January 1st, 2020 the system was launched and later on May 1st, 2020 it was decided to start a full-scale commercial operation. Project is expanding and currently reporting and further implementation stages are discussed. This project has 2 key peculiarities. The first is that Russian localization was used to offer a solution that fully complies with the Kazakh legislation. The second is that this is the very first world’s and biggest cloud Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations localization project in CEE.  Kazakhmys is the biggest copper producer in Kazakhstan, leading international company in sphere of mining and development of natural resources. Copper operations are fully integrated from mining ore through to the production of finished copper cathode and rod. The company also produces gold and silver bullions, lead dust, sulphuric acid, selenium and cuprous telluride.

Reynaers Aluminium uses Power BI reports to optimize business processes

Customer Reynaers Aluminium is a leading European specialist in the development and marketing of innovative and sustainable aluminium solutions. The company operates in 40 countries with annual turnover of 400 mln Euros.  Energy saving and environment are one of the key principles of Reynaers Aluminium operations.   Background Reynaers Aluminum tracked deadlines and results in oversaturated Excel files. This product was not sufficient to control and correct the time from the date of creation to the date of shipment a product to the customer. In addition, it was necessary to control and plan the workload of each production site. Excel was also used to summarize corporate results and it complicated and slowed down many processes. Additional task was to promptly prepare reports on the plan-fact of the previous and future periods. Microsoft Power BI became the most appropriate solution that, unlike Excel, could provide a clear and simple access to all important information. Awara IT consultants prepared a general corporate report, and a report for colouring and assembling stages. Report data was collected from various Excel files in accordance to specified internal logic.   Results Power BI report allowed to significantly reduce time for planning the workload of the Reynaers Aluminum production facility. Now employees in the supply or sales departments track every order and line item along the production path. Reynaers’ employee need less time to control and plan the timing of the product at each stage of production. This allows you to predict the time of production of similar orders, to identify and eliminate production errors that slow down the process.

Oilfield services company automates complex sales processes with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales

Awara IT has successfully implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales for NewTech Services, oilfield services company.   About customer «NewTech Services» – is an international oilfield services company providing high-tech solutions to oil and gas customers in Russia, CIS countries, Europe, Latin America and Middle East since 2009. The company provides 4 key services: drilling, completion, project management and selling equipment. Head offices are located in Moscow and Huston. Operation and representative offices, as well as maintenance and service centres are located in Samara, Almetyevsk, Perm, Orenburg, Usinsk, N.Urengoy, Noyabrsk, Nefteyugansk, Nizhnevartovsk, Tomsk, etc. Regional representatives operate in the UK, Venezuela, Serbia, Belorus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Urkaine and United States.   Background NewTech b2b sales process is long and complex. It involves tender department, internal coordinators, business development managers, who collect a lot of specific information, track statuses, store voluminous tender documents, etc. The customer decided to systematize sales process with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, building a single workflow for all areas and regions in two stages: to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and to optimize approval of tender documents as part of the sales process. Solution On the first project stage Awara IT presented standard CRM functionality in accordance to customer’s business processes related to oilfield services.  We have automaized the following processes: customer relationships, opportunities management, monitoring sales. Second project stage was much more complex. The challenge was to optimize tender approvals, deploy complex forms and control purchases processes. Awara IT has also developed a proprietary tool for document role-based access control.   Results Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales is implemented and is actively used by the customer Key business processes related to tender participation are implemented Awara IT team deployed a proprietary role-based access solution for bulk tender documentation. Documents are stored in Sharepoint but only some users should have access to it. Switching between apps when working with apps isnt an option either. That is why our solution covered roles in CRM that would provide a user with access to certain documents that he/she needs for everyday work.   Additional Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales functionality by Awara IT When dealing with complicated cross-segment and cross-team B2B sales, classic Follow Accounts functionality didnt meet customer’s requirements. Awara IT introduced additional flexible and convenient Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales module called “User settings and notifications subscription” that includes: Configuring auto-substitution of the most frequently used parameters when creating new records Setting up a flexible subscription to notifications from the system for various events for business areas, regions, and customer groups.   NewTech is happy with the results and puts the project into commercial operation.

Lamoda systematising pickup points lists using Microsoft 365

Customer Lamoda started its operations back in 2011 as an online store. It is now the largest clothes and lifestyle online retailer in Russia and CIS countries with over 6 million items from 3 000 global and local brands offered. The company employs around 7 thousands professionals, including Central office team in Moscow, locations in Minks, Kyiv, Almaty, automated warehouse in Bykovo, LM Express in-house delivery, IT-hub, and 3 contact centres in Volgograd, Zhytomyr and Chernihiv. The company’s motto is “Fashion for every day”. Lamoda creates effective and useful solutions, provides customers with beautiful and high-quality goods, explains fashion trends, and shows how they apply to your everyday life. Lamoda is a part of Global Fashion Group since 2014.   Background Lamoda serves customers using pickup point locations among other means of delivery. Every point has certain number of characteristics that should be controlled: rental terms, KPIs, employment contract expiration, etc. When there were only 5 points, Excel did great job covering all the above mentioned parameters – 5 excel sheets for 5 pickup points. Currently, there are over 350 owned points with over 17 thousands partner pickup points, and this means that Excel is no longer an option. It is more and more difficult to find the latest version of this document, search is complicated and takes much time. Lamoda required recommendations from Awara IT on how to improve the process of working with pickup points lists. We offered hackathon approach to find the optimal solution, and in only 30 minutes Awara IT team presented a solution model. Solution Awara IT provided a simple interface for accessing information about each point. The list is flexibly sorted, filtered, it is easy to configure and change parameters or characteristics. In fact, the solution works as an interactive and easily customizable database. Our solution is developed within earlier purchased Lamoda subscriptions for Microsoft 365. Results Fast and simple way to find needed information about pickup points Working in one window. No need to switching between apps to look for needed data.
