Reima launches a global sales management project with Microsoft Dynamics 365

Strategic partnership between the kidswear brand Reima and Awara IT continues. We are delighted to share a global Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service implementation project for b2b sales management and customer support. This cloud solution is in use for Reima’s sales channels in most European countries, USA and Canada. The system covers wholesale processes, contractors and agents’ support. Overall this implementation has become a big step towards digital transformation, as previously B2B sales support was carried in Excel and Outlook. International Awara IT team has customized the system, provided integration with NAV/BC that now includes data about new wholesale customers, enabled integration with Outlook. Dynamics 365 mobile app is actively used by sales team and improves their daily operations. Collaboration with customers has become transparent, simple and convenient. Solver becomes Microsoft partner for integrating cloud planning and reporting solutions for Dynamics 365 Finance

Engineering company manages projects and documentation using Microsoft solutions

Customer Concept Electro is an engineering company that develops and deploys solutions for the automation technological processes, metalworking. The company also manufactures low-voltage complete devices and provides services to the largest Russian mining and telecommunications companies.   Background Concept Electro had no centralized system for storing and exchanging documents. The company’s documentation was partly stored locally on laptops or even in hard copies. As a result, processing and searching for the necessary documents was not a speedy process. Another consequence of the company’s growth was that the deadlines for internal tasks were not met, and this could sometimes affect Concept Electro’s relationship with customers. It was necessary to build project management processes and assign responsibility for each task, so the management at Concept Electro decided to automate work with documents and optimize existing business processes.   Solutions and results The company uses Microsoft Project to ensure professional project management. In this program, deadlines for tasks are set, resources are managed, tasks are assigned to people, and the status of tasks and projects are monitored. Internal communications are conducted in Microsoft Teams. The use of paper documents has been reduced to a minimum; Simpler information search and fewer errors associated with the use of incorrect versions of documents; Boost in teamwork which has positively affected the company’s productivity; Greater safety and transparency of information thanks to the use of cloud solutions Improved project quality and greater work speed which is reflected in the company’s business performance. AquaHelp simplifies communication and reduces workload in Microsoft Teams

Customer AquaHelp is a major engineering company that provides water supply and hydrogeology services. One of its divisions Hydrogeological Expert Bureau coordinates the preparation of project documentation, assesses groundwater resources, conducts monitoring observations and groundwater inflow testing. Background The client’s key business process is the maintenance of major documentation and strictly regulated procedure for assessing groundwater resources, monitoring observations, and groundwater inflow testing. Time management and task allocation among employees required special attention. A clear procedure had to be set up to regulate the work performed by specific employees so that they end up with a manageable workload which in turn allows fulfilling contracts with no delay.   Results Each stage of the work performed by the company’s Hydrogeological Expert Bureau is recorded in Microsoft Project. Work on each project is fully scheduled as is the procedure for all points of performance in Microsoft Project. When a document is received and to whom it is forwarded can be tracked. Communication within project teams is conducted in Microsoft Teams, and numerous project documentation is also stored in Microsoft Teams. Sophisticated and well-regulated communications have improved business processes within the company, making them more efficient and relevant. Each Expert Bureau employee also sees the tasks they must do and their timeline. Task managers see the same, and our client considers that it was Teams that played an important role in reducing human error as well as speeding up work while improving its quality. A manufacturer of chemical reagents saves resources with Microsoft Dynamics NAV

About client Mirriko Group is a Russian group of production and service companies that manufacture and supply chemical reagents, provide engineering support to customers on the application of chemical solutions and maintenance services. The group of companies has 6 divisions and business units which are divided into financial responsibility centers/cost centers. Background Purchasing, production, and logistics are done centrally and separated into individual logistics and supply centers (LSC). Purchasing, production, and logistics planning is based on the sales orders processed by the business units. Since the business units and LSC are different legal entities, this gives rise to an intercompany purchase and sale chain. Based on the sales orders processed by the business units, LSC plans production, purchases, and transfers considering the clear balances of already placed production and purchase orders. Prior to the deployment of Microsoft Dynamics, a sales order was created and processed separately semi-manually. The balances were analyzed, while reserves and orders for production, transfers and purchase were created. The possibility of using goods from other business units was considered. Given that Mirriko Group owns two manufacturing facilities and uses dozens of third-party production sites and warehouses with a global reach, such planning did not allow optimally organizing the supply chains. Moreover, the same product could be manufactured at different production sites, and raw materials were delivered to these sites from different sources. This, in the end, greatly affected production cost and delivery times. The Awara IT team had to offer a solution that would save the client’s resources and time. Solution and results The economic performance of Mirriko Group almost instantly improved after the implementation of this project. After the deployment of Dynamics NAV, the client was able to plan each option for the production and delivery of goods to choose the optimal one in order to save time and cut logistics costs. Key tasks for the client’s business were completed: Functions were developed for intercompany chains: inventory management, supply tracking, change broadcasting to both sides of the chain, automatic accounting upon shipment from warehouse; Regenerative planning was introduced and improved: Mirriko group receives already at the planning stage cost estimates for the selected production planning option. The production plan and purchase plan can be changed when new requirements arise. Key deals are recorded, order completion dates can be managed and rescheduled; A function allowing to plan production options considering the costs of transport and procurement of components and extra costs was developed. Comparison and selection of the optimal production and delivery option, planning considering selected routes планирование с учетом выбранных маршрутов, plan/actual cost analysis, operational control over prices and delivery options; Introduction of planning of inventory in service contracts. Storage and use of specifications, production order creation and modification, recording of the actual consumption of components while drilling, visualization of well-drilling program; Simplified web interfaces were created for warehouses and production.
